About This Wine
This Chardonnay comes from each of Les Heritiers Comte Lafon’s parcels across the Macon AOC. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 8 months in large, old, upright oak casks.
Les Heritiers Comte Lafon is the Macon based, sister domaine of Dominique Lafon. He produces some of Meursaults most sought after wines. Twenty years ago he was the first of the Cote d’Or superstars to invested heavily in the vineyards of Macon. Just like his Meursault domaine, the vineyards are run entirely by biodynamic principals.
This more southerly, domaine is now 25ha in Milly-Lamartine on the western side of Macon and has consistently outshone the competition.
