Floral notes are abound throughout the palate as well, as crunchy acidity. Definitely medium bodied, with all the plushy Malbec aspects just not as loud. AFTER A FEW-River side berry gorging.

About This Wine
The Barbarians is a collective of wine families in the Uco Valley of Mendoza, Argentina. Each of these families are independent, forward thinking and have their own strong identities yet they have a collective philosophy of minimal intervention winemaking and sustainable viticulture.
The Esperando Malbec is made by Matias Michelini who is at the forefront of low intervention winemaking in Argentina. This Malbec sources fruit from a biodynamic vineyard (1350m above sea level) and is fermented in concrete before aging in amphora. No oak whatsoever leaves this wine animated and frenetic. A welcome adjustment to the Mendoza Malbec norm.
