Barringwood 'Tasmanian Cuvee' Methode Traditionelle NV
AT FIRST SIP-A pretty faint blush colour, the nose is lead with apple flesh, cranberry and cherry skin. The palate has lovely vivacity, oozing with red apple and tart red cherry. Tasmanian natural acidity shining through a berry sorbet and almond note on the finish. AFTER A FEW-Equal parts fun like the pink/purple nerds and as serious as knotting a cherry stem with your tongue.

About This Wine
Barringwood is situated near Barrington, south of Devonport in Tasmania. Born out of owner and local; Vanessa Bagot's love for the cool climate island. Barringwood began when Vanessa and husband Neville purchased the vineyard in 2012. The wines are made by Joseph Chromy talent; Jeremy Dineen. This is a Chardonnay (64%) and Pinot Noir (36%) blend. A wine crafted using the Méthode Traditionelle process, including 17 months on yeast lees. And a partial (60%) malolactic fermentation.
