About This Wine

This Cabernet Franc was hand picked  and destemmed.  50% of the bunches were kept on skins  for 24 hours, essentially being treated as a rosé. The remaining half was kept on skins for 10 days. The two halves are matured separately in old puncheons for 12 months before blending together. 

Dave Geyer definitely has a less is more ethos that lead him to work with some of the best in the lo-fi wine game having worked at Matassa in Languedoc as well as being half of Yeti and the Kokonut. A Barossa local, dave has a soft spot for neglected vineyards, bringing their old vines into the limelight in a fresh and modern way.
