About This Wine
This wine is 61% Malbec and 39% Petit Verdot. It is with all Cullen's wines fermented with wild yeast and natural acid only. It was matured in French oak (57% new) for 5 months.
The Cullens were among the first to plant in Margaret River and have become one of the most influential. Still family owned and run, head winemaker Vanya Cullen continues to build on this family's never ending quest for quality. Vanya is a pioneer of biodynamics in the area and speaks of 'soil intelligence' and connection between biodynamic practices and other areas of the business. Being named winemaker of the year in 2020 was the result of many years hard work and stunning vintages. Cullen is one of the producers Australia should and would show to overseas wine industry to express Australia's winemaking prowess.
