Hartford Court Marin Pinot Noir 2017
AT FIRST SIP-Pomegranate, red cherry and graphite enliven the senses before Chinese 5 spice and olive tapenade sneak in. The palate has some cola dappled with fresh red berries. Tannins are graphite, gentle yet persistent. AFTER A FEW-A cola flavoured misting fan.

About This Wine
From one of the newer AVA's in California, this small sub region to the south of Sonoma produces very distinct, minerally and ethereal style Pinot Noirs.
The 2017 vintage was another low yielding season in the cool climate of Marin County, This wine is sourced from a small, dry farmed vineyard on rolling hills in an area of Marin that has been home to cattle for the last century.
Maturation took place over 17 months in French oak barriques, of which 28% were new.
