About This Wine
This is Hartford Court's premier release from the Sta. Rita Hills AVA . "Truly Rita Pinot Noir“ comes from the well-respected Dierberg“ Drum Canyon site. This vineyard is on a steep slope facing the Pacific Ocean and is influenced by the cool ocean breezes everyday. The well drained and calcium rich soils, combined with the cool climate produces a wine that is very graceful, but with powerful underlying texture.
Matured for 17 months in French oak barriques (of which 14% were new).
