About This Wine

Winemaker Nic Peterkin has made waves in Margaret River especially after being awarded Young Winemaker of The Year in 2016 by Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine. Not surprising with a deep passion for Margaret River and winemaking in his blood, he is the son of Dr Mike Peterkin and Shelly Cullen of Cullen fame.

The Albino PNO changes a little every year, blink and you'll miss it as this tantalising wine sells out fast. Looks like a Rosé, tastes like an aromatic, textured white. This wine really boogies to its own beat.

This is 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir is treated as a white (little to no skin contact), where the fruit unleashes crunchy watermelon and strawberry sorbet. The Chardonnay, provides richness and fat with lees stirring and time in barrel. Both portions are kept a part for secondary ferments and lees stirring for 10 months till bottling.

“L.A.S. stands for Luck Art Science. The LUCK of the weather, the wind and the water during vintage. The ART of creating wine from essentially water and sunlight. They say you need to know the rules to break them, we can thank SCIENCE for giving us an excuse to break the rules and create something different and interesting” – Nic Peterkin
