Tim Hodgkinson & Kate Akmentins have planted a stunning vineyard in the small area known as Tea Tree in the Coal River Valley of Tasmania. Dedicated to Biodynamics and sustainability they manage their vineyard with incredible dedication. This vineyard is currently reaching maturity and so their closest neighbor has been kind enough to allow access to a small parcel of their fruit each year. Farmed organically and made in a very hands off fashion this is a truly beautiful expression of Tasmania.

A hugely anticipated release of the first wine from the Petrichor Estate Vineyard. After years of regeneration and maturation the vines are now producing exceptional fruit. For the first release the decision was made to create a blend that truly encapsulated the vineyard and vintage. The result is a blend of Syrah, Gamay & Pinot that marries energy, finesse and power with bright lifted aromatics underpinned by savoury earthen tannin that unfold beautifully.
