About This Wine
McLaren Vale charm, this Syrah was kept on skins for 30 days and was allowed to undergo a wild ferment. After pressing using a small basket press, juice was put into 25% new oak and 75% seasoned oak allows the Syrah fruit to come out uninhibited and expressive. Man of many talents, winemaker Duane Coates gives a nod to old world styles in a pragmatic and transparent manner. Creating varietally driven, wines that are true to the Australian terroir.
