Quite possibly our new favourite rosé, from sustainably certified vines producing some of Western Australia's best tempranillo!

“Well if you are looking for a proper Rosé for this Spring and Summer then look no further than this super, bone dry style which you can enjoy by the gallon. Pale onion skin pink but not pale in style as it delivers elegant yet piercing aromas of warm watermelon and cranberry with powdery dusted spice complexity – fennel seed with touches of paprika. The best part is the palate with excellent volume of flavour which it holds and holds and holds with subtle complexity over an extended finish with a little twist of tannins adding depth. Most Bandol Rosé wishes it was this good.”  95 Points - Angus Hughson, Wine Pilot

The smallest wine region in Australia yet responsible for a huge proportion of the country's premium wines. World class Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon are found throughout the region as well as some fantastic new curios.
Oates Ends is both a homecoming and love of land. These are the wines of Cath Oates, whose highly-awarded, 20-year international winemaking career has spanned Italy, New Zealand and the USA – as well as Australia. The name 'Oates Ends' comes from a barrel of wine made in the shed two decades ago, a joint family effort that made use of the grapes left at the ends of the rows and was bottled to share with family and friends.

Farming is in the blood of the Oates family, with Cath and her brother Russ growing up on the various family farms in Margaret River as the third generation on the land. The Wilagri property was purchased for beef farming in 1990 and the vineyard was first planted in 1998, on classic Wilyabrup soils, complex loams over deep well draining gravels, renowned for producing world class wines. Now owned by Russ, after the original property was divided in two, he applies over 30 years of viticultural experience to grow impeccable quality fruit.
