About This Wine
Wow we are smitten with this wine (and producer) at the moment! This Fleurie Cru Beaujolais certainly has the cru's allure and charm but with additional structure and framing thanks to these vines being 70 years old and atop the gorgeous pink granite that are synonymous with Fleurie.
Whole clusters, wild yeast for fermentation and a semi carbonic atmosphere in concrete tanks. The wine was then matured for a further 9 month stint in old foudre (larger than life barrels).
