Classic California power with ripe juicy fruit, lashings of butter and fresh acidity. A stunning, rich and creamy example.
Sourced from several vineyards within the Russian River Valley AVA (Laguna Ridge, Green Valley and Russian River itself) this Chardonnay is an excellent example of the regions style. After sorting by hand, the grapes are whole bunch pressed in French oak and stainless steel (10%). After a spontaneous, wild yeast fermentation the wine matured for 10 months in 26% new French oak barrels. Bottled without filtering or fining.
