When vigneron Pierre Seillan first arrived in Sonoma, he was immediately struck by the sheer diversity of soil structures. Understanding that the complexity of the wines came directly from the myriad soil types, he insisted that developing what was to be known as 'droit du sol' or 'right of the soil' would be the cornerstone of Vérité.
Utilising the Jackson family's vast network of premium vineyards in Sonoma, he began isolating ‘micro crus’ – tiny pockets of land, often with only a few vines that expressed that particular soil. In reality, this is the truth behind why the wines of Vérité offer such immense power and complexity. Hundreds of tiny plots, each contributing a unique expression, are expertly blended to create perfect harmony.

Crafted primarily from merlot, this is a wine of supple fruit and earthen spice,

This expression of cabernet franc is lifted upon a pedestal of cabernet sauvignon
and merlot, with opulent aromatics followed by layers of concentrated fruit and
exotic spice complemented by a plush, suede-like texture.
