About This Wine

An incredible history is still being upheld at Dalwood in the Hunter Valley. Dating back to 1828, they have the longest running commercial vineyard in Australia. Their sparkling is sourced from their vineyards on the banks of the Hunter River and picked at night to retain freshness.

Under Australian law, you must be over 18 years to purchase alcohol. By entering the Wine Envy website, you acknowledge that you are over 18 years.

Once your payment has been approved, we will book your delivery in through Sendle via either Couriers Please or FastWay / Aramex, for next available pickup. Established on the beautiful Hunter River in 1828, Dalwood Estate is regarded as the birthplace of Hunter Valley wine.

Today Dalwood Estate continues to raise the benchmark in Australian winemaking, placing passion, expertise and technique at the heart of all we do. We are proud to bring you an outstanding selection of Hunter Valley wines born from a legacy close to two centuries in the making.

As the longest running commercial vineyard in Australia Dalwood Estate purchased cuttings from the first Australian vine collections of Macarthur, Busby, Shepherd and Blaxland.

No pesticides or chemicals are used, only organic fertilisers, with all water and waste products recycled on the property. Since 2016, a significant amount of energy and focus has gone into reestablishing vineyard health and restoring sustainable viticultural practices. With its heritage dating back to 1828, sustainable farming is an integral part of continual production and the estate’s life cycle.
