This crafty little fiano fills the nose with aromas of orange peel, lemon pith and pickled ginger. Fleshy citrus carries the palate, with a slight biscuity note and lemonade-like acidity cruising to a clean finish. You'll find this one hard to put down.
About The Region
Gundagai may be the best kept wine secret in NSW. Located 160 kilometres southwest of Canberra, along the foothills of the picturesque Snowy Mountains, the region is rich in red volcanic soils and winemaking history dates as far back as 1877.
The Snowy Mountains not only provide a beautiful vista; they also encourage cool evening breezes throughout the growing season, helping to preserve delicate and complex fruit characters. Additionally, the vibrant ironstone-rich soil is particularly ideal for producing powerful, yet elegant, medium-bodied dry reds and crisp, mineral-driven whites.
