Grenache is awesome. It's as simple as that. The slightly longer version of why we like it so much goes into it's characteristics when planted in it's classic regions of southern Rhone and Priorat. Density, red fruits, acid, smooth tannins and a whole lot of deliciousness. Grenache in Australia is perhaps most underrated. A wealth of old vines particularly in Mc Laren Vale and Barossa have lead to some phenomenal iterations.
