Pronounced 'Pop-el-vei', winemaker Uffe Deichmann has named his wine company after the danish word for poplar tree.
Sourcing fruit from sustainably grown, low yielding sites across the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale, he crafts wines with minimal inputs, ultra freshness and considering his favouritism for early picks-surprising flavour density.
